HARTFORD, Conn. -- Extra state troopers are patrolling Connecticut’s roadways over the holiday weekend and setting up DUI patrols throughout the state, state police said.Police said from midnight Wednesday until 10:30 p.m. Thursday they had issued 463 speeding violations; 283 seatbelt violations and 1,009 other hazardous moving violations.State police said they had made 28 driving under the influence arrests.One-hundred-and-thirty-six crashes had been reported, 14 of which included injuries, state police said.Two of those crashes were fatal. One of the fatal crashes was reported on Route 12 in Lisbon and the other on Route 20 in Hartland.
