Police: 3 Men Rob New Britain Credit Union

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. -- Police in New Britain are on the lookout for three men who robbed a credit union there on Monday afternoon.Police said the Nutmeg State Federal Credit Union was robbed around noon.Curtis Street was shut down for part of the day while police searched for the three men after the robbery.Police needed to turn away a steady stream of vehicles who were trying to get through while police investigated the robbery.Police said the three men were wearing masks and holding handguns when they stormed the credit union.The men got away with an undermined amount of money and fled north on Curtis Street in a white Honda.The robbery is under investigation ad the credit union is expected to reopen on Tuesday morning.
