BRANFORD, Conn. -- Police said that a man they interviewed in connection with the stabbing of a Comcast worker is no longer a person of interest, police said.Douglas Magee was found with a serious stab wound to the neck in the back of the Comcast building where he worked late Thursday afternoon.Detectives initially identified another Cocast employee a person of interest in the stabbing. Late Friday morning, however, police said that detectives spoke with the man and determined that he was no longer a person of interest in the case."Today our detectives will begin a very methodical analysis of the information that was collected over the past 18 hours," said Chief John DeCarlo. "I'm certain that the analysis will lead them in a number of directions and they will bring this investigation to a successful conclusion."Magee, of Guilford, has worked as a supervisor for Comcast for years, police said. He was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, and remained in serious condition Friday morning.
