NEW BRITAIN, Conn. -- A New Britain man has been arrested in North Carolina, hours after his wife was found dead in their home in Connecticut. City police say 32-year old Juan Palafox was charged Thursday with violating a restraining order, and will face additional charges. Thirty-year-old Dia Palafox was found dead Thursday morning on the kitchen floor. Police say there were signs of trauma to the body. Palafox was being held as a fugitive of justice.New Britain police said they issued an arrest warrant for Palafox, charging him with murder on Thursday night.New Britain Superior Court set bond at $5 million.
