Shooter Fled Before Police Arrived

EAST HAVEN, Conn. -- Three people were shot and injured early Sunday at a bar, East Haven police said.Police began getting reports of people shot at Mango's Bar, 70 Hemingway Ave., at 1:43 a.m. Officer arrived and found the three with non-life-threatening injuries. They were taken to Yale New Haven and St. Raphael's Hospital.Police are searching for a car that was seen fleeing the bar prior to police arriving, but no description was immediately available.The shooter was a Hispanic man, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a ponytail, police said. He was wearing a black fitted baseball hat with a do-rag under the hat and he had a black jacket, police said.Anyone with information is asked to call the East Haven police at 203-468-3820.
