Downed Tree Closes Rt. 153

Roadway Closed In Westbrook

WESTBROOK, Conn. -- Route 153 was closed late Tuesday morning because of a downed tree.

The roadway was closed at the Westbrook, Essex town line, according to dispatchers.

Power outages were being reported in connection with the incident.
