Crews Respond To Gas Leak AT ECSU

WILLIMANTIC, Conn. -- Crews were responding to a gas leak on the campus of Eastern Connecticut State University on Thursday evening.School officials said that a natural gas line was punctured shortly after 4 p.m. as crews took down a tent outside the dining hall.Officials said one of the tent's stakes caused a small puncture in the line.Yankee Gas was called to the campus and was working Thursday evening to repair the pipe.
School officials said that student's were not evacuated.
