Teresa LaBarbera, a University of Connecticut alum, joined Eyewitness News in November 2006.

She currently reports for Pinpoint Traffic, alerting you of the area's traffic delays and road conditions, and reports news throughout the state.

Teresa hails from Middlebury and actually started at WFSB as an intern in 2001 before working on the production staff.

The aspect of reporting she loves the most is going out in the field and meeting new people every day, and having a chance to tell their stories to the viewers.

Teresa's past experience includes working in radio for a network of stations in Hartford, and anchoring the evening news in Monroe, La., at KTVE and KARD, where she also worked as a reporter and producer.

In her career, Teresa has covered the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and she has reported on how people have rebuilt their lives.

One of her most memorable weird moments while on the job was getting pegged with beads while reporting live at the annual Mardi Gras Parade in Monroe, La.

Teresa enjoys spending time with her family, working out and traveling.
