POSTED: 5:25 pm EDT June 2, 2008

(Sports Network) - The New England Patriots added veteran depth to their roster Monday, signing offensive lineman Oliver Ross.

Per team policy, terms were not disclosed.

The 33-year-old is entering his 11th NFL season. The 6-foot-4, 327-pounder spent last season with the Arizona Cardinals, but did not play due to a triceps injury. In 2006, he played in 11 games with five starts.

Prior to his stint in Arizona, the Iowa State product dressed for the Steelers (2000-04); Eagles (1999) and Cowboys (1998) -- who drafted him in the fifth round of the 1998 draft.

His best seasons came in Pittsburgh, where he played in all 64 regular-season contests with 35 starts.
