Local Artists' CD Benefits Children's Charity

Holiday CD Celebrates Conn. Artists

POSTED: 5:00 pm EST December 6, 2006

A holiday CD released by Connecticut artists not only celebrates Christmas in Connecticut but raises funds for a children's charity.

The proceeds of "Christmas in Connecticut" will go toward the Will Santa Find Me? foundation.

The organization grants the wishes of children who are orphaned, sick or living in shelters.

The group met at the East Windsor Wal-Mart Wednesday to promote the cause.

"Many of these children are dying and we don't even know if they'll be able to see the next Christmas, so we would like to keep their hopes and dreams alive for this one," said Remi Borak of Will Santa Find Me?

The musicians and Wal-Mart presented the organization with gift cards.

To order the CD, visit its Web site or call 866-400-2533. For more information about Will Santa Find Me? visit the organization's Web site.
