Several Hartford City Hall employees were subpoenaed on Tuesday to testify at an administrative hearing regarding a state representative.

State Rep. Minnie Gonzalez is accused of interfering with the casting of absentee ballots.

Two cases involving the charges are scheduled to go before the State Election Enforcement Commission on Wednesday morning.

Those subpoenaed appear to include people from the registrar's office and the office of the city clerk.

"Any city official who is called to testify at the State Election Enforcement Commission regarding the serious allegations against St. Rep. Minnie Gonzalez is entitled to legal advice if so requested," said Sarah Barr, spokesperson for the mayor. "We expect those called to fully cooperate."
