EAST HAVEN, Conn. -- The mayor of East Haven is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.April Capone Almon was charged with breach of peace after police said she tried to stop an East Haven police officer from towing cars at the town beach in July.Capone-Almon has pleaded not guilty.She won re-election earlier in the month.
