Profile
Hunter Mountain is known as the "Snowmaking Capital of the World." The resort makes snow early, often, and in large quantities. The area is also known for the large numbers of singles it draws from the New York Metro areas. Food offerings are atypical and blazed new culinary trails. You might even find sushi on the menu. The Caatskill Club is a big draw. Located slopeside, it has 109 rooms, and indoor-outdoor pool with a spa and restaurant, and a health club and fitness center.
Lodging
Seven lodges, including the new Caatskill Club, with more than 200 rooms within walking distance of the slopes. Thirteen hotels, 23 motels, and 14 bed and breakfasts are located in the nearby area with an evening shuttle service on the weekends and several taxi services in the area.
Recreation
Ice skating, tennis, movies, sleigh riding, snowmobiling, swimming, and tobogganing nearby. NASTAR, snowboard park, and tubing available on-site.
