However, Very Heavy Rain in association with tropical storm hanna will move into southwest new hampshire, Western Massachusetts And Connecticut between 4 and 7 pm. This heavy rain will reach the coastal plain between 6 and 9 pm this evening.
The heaviest rain in association with tropical storm hanna will be to the northwest of the track. At this time the highest risk for significant urban flooding will be along and northwest of a boston to providence line. However, We Can Not rule out some flooding across the cape and islands.
In Massachusetts, Rhode Island, And Northern Connecticut total rainfall of 3 to 6 inches is forecast with a few isolated 8 inch reports possible.
