(Sports Network) - Houston Comets forward Tina Thompson and Minnesota Lynx guard Seimone Augustus were among the reserves chosen for the 2007 WNBA All-Star Game.

This year's contest will be played Sunday, July 15 in Washington, DC.

Thompson has been selected as an All-Star for the seventh time in the game's eight-year history. She leads the Comets with an average of 18.4 points.

Augustus is in just her second year and will play in the All-Star Game for the second time. She is second in the WNBA with an average of 22.3 points.

Joining Thompson and Augustus as reserves for the Western Conference will be Sacramento's Rebekkah Brunson, Los Angeles' Taj McWilliams-Franklin, and Cappie Pondexter and Penny Taylor of the Phoenix Mercury.

Connecticut's Katie Douglas and Asjha Jones were among the Eastern Conference reserves. Alana Beard and DeLisha Milton-Jones of Washington were also chosen along with Indiana's Tammy Sutton-Brown and Chicago's Candice Dupree.

Dupree, making her second All-Star Game appearance in as many years in the WNBA, ranks third in the league in scoring at 19.5 points per game.
