NCAA Game Summary - Yale At Princeton

(Sports Network) - Dan Mavraides netted 16 points and grabbed six caroms and the Princeton Tigers defeated the Yale Bulldogs, 62-54, in Ivy League play at Jadwin Gym.

Douglas Davis came off the bench and delivered 12 points for the Tigers (12-12, 7-4 Ivy), who won their second straight game and closed out their home schedule. Princeton finished 8-6 at Jadwin Gym on the season.

Alex Zampier tallied a contest-best 19 points for Yale (12-14, 7-5), which had its three-game win streak snapped, and Ross Morin added 16 points and five boards.

Princeton outscored Yale 14-0 to start the game and it carried a 27-20 lead to the locker room.

The Tigers shot a scorching 65.0 percent from the floor over the last 20 minutes, as they captured the eight-point win.

Princeton hit on 53.5 percent of its attempts from the field and 7-of-15 from three-point range on the night.
