Bruins Sign Begin

Boston, MA -- (Sports Network) - The Boston Bruins have signed center Steve Begin to a one-year deal, the club announced Wednesday.Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed, but TSN Canada reports the deal is worth $850,000. Begin, 31, split last season between Montreal and Dallas, and in 62 games had seven goals and five assists. In 409 career games over 10 NHL seasons with Calgary, Montreal and Dallas, Begin has 47 goals and 39 assists.
