POSTED: 9:18 pm EDT July 2, 2009

(Sports Network) - Tammy Sutton-Brown registered game-highs of 14 points and 14 rebounds, leading the Indiana Fever to a 67-53 victory over the Connecticut Sun.

Sutton-Brown was one rebound shy of her career-high, set last season, as the Fever won for the seventh straight time after dropping their first two contests. Katie Douglas also had 14 points, while Tamika Catchings and Ebony Hoffman each contributed 10 points in the win.

Lindsay Whalen led the Sun with 11 points, but Connecticut had a three-game win streak snapped to fall back to .500 at 4-4. Asjha Jones was the only other Connecticut player in double figures with 10, and the team was outrebounded by a 42-29 margin.
