NEW LONDON, Conn. -- School officials have named a replacement for a controversial football coach.Jack Cochran is accused of punching another coach from Groton last week. He faces breach of peace charges.On Friday, the school board named former Griswold Coach Bob Brackett as the new football head coach at New London.Brackett, who coached the Wolverines for 12 years before stepping down, said he has missed the sidelines.Stay with WFSB.com and Channel 3 Eyewitness News for the latest news updates.
