Robert Goulston

Robert Goulston is the New Haven Bureau Chief for Channel 3 Eyewitness News. His diverse background, including several years working as a federal investigator in Washington, DC, has prepared him for the wide range of stories he covers.

Robert grew up in Boston. He is an award-winning journalist, receiving an Emmy Award after writing a story about underwater rehabilitation for soldiers seriously hurt in war. He has also worked with photojournalists to produce stories honored with awards from the Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists, Connecticut Associated Press and Maine Association of Broadcasters.

Robert has reported on the Catholic sex abuse scandal and the 2004 Presidential Primary in New Hampshire. He is also credited with uncovering many major stories over the years, including ground contamination on a Tyson chicken farm that led to a federal investigation and CNN coverage.

Before hitting the streets, Robert worked behind the scenes of the show "America's Most Wanted." His stories helped capture dozens of the country's most wanted, including one fugitive who was on the run for more than a decade.

Please e-mail Robert with any ideas or tips that may lead to a story on Channel 3 Eyewitness News.
