There are still many towns in the dark after this past weekend's snowstorm, and the First Selectwoman in one Hartford suburb is furious.
Mary Glassman said Simsbury is spending thousands to house people in emergency shelters and now is threatening a lawsuit against Connecticut Light & Power in order to get to the bottom of it.
"We want answers to questions - when crews were called in? How many crews are in the state? When restoration was (started)," Glassman said.
Glassman said she will get answers even if she has to sue. The town did the same about 10 years ago for the same reason.
"We had frequent power outages. Extended power outages lasting up to a week, and as a result of that lawsuit there were some improvements," Glassman said.
CL&P crews were seen out and about in the town on Wednesday, but some are saying it took way too long.
"We were promised crews increasing throughout the week, and today was is the first time - day five that we actually saw additional crews," Glassman said.
Eyewitness News reached out to CL&P. In a statement the company said, "It would be inappropriate to comment on any pending litigation but CL&P continues to work with cities and towns to restore power."
