Gov. Dannel Malloy was asking residents who were still without electricity following last weekend's historic and rare snowstorm to head to a local shelter Friday night.
The temperature was expected to be anywhere from 20 degrees to the low-30s, which could be dangerous for anyone without heat.
The normal low temperature for this time of year is around 36 degrees, Meteorologist Mark Dixon said.
