8-foot inflatable turkey stolen in Avon

AVON, CT (WFSB) -

Sometime between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 5 a.m. Wednesday, someone stole an 8-foot tall inflatable turkey on display at Miller Foods' annual festival.

Named Tom, the turkey has been used as a Thanksgiving display by Miller Foods for almost two decades.

Miller Foods said it will give away a free turkey to anyone who returns Tom.

Avon police are investigating the theft
