An Arizona youth minister has pleaded guilty in a child molestation case.
Jasmine "J" Omar Brown changed his plea Tuesday, a Superior Court spokesman said.
Brown pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual conduct with a minor and one count of child molestation. He will be sentenced in September.
At the time of Brown's arrest in 2011, Mesa police had said the victim disclosed to investigators that Brown had touched him inappropriately on two occasions during a summer camp at Family of God Christian Fellowship in Apache Junction.
Brown told police he had worked as a full-time teacher's aide at Phoenix Collegiate Academy, working with special needs children.
The boy's relatives reported the incident to Mesa police.
The victim told sex crime detectives that Brown had "touched him inappropriately on two occasions," police said.
During interviews with investigators, detectives said they learned Brown and the boy spent many nights together during the summer camp.
