Emergency responders delivered thousands of toys to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford on Tuesday.
Connecticut State Troopers, Troop H and ASM/Aetna Ambulance held a Stuff A Cruiser toy drive from Dec. 15 to Dec. 18 at Toys R Us stores in Manchester, Newington and West Hartford.
Tens of thousands of toys were collected, according to state police.
The toys were delivered to CCMC via state police cruisers, ambulances and a box truck.
A portion of the gifts will be given to children throughout the inpatient and outpatient areas of the medical center, but most of them will be used to give each child that's brought to the medical center this year a new toy.
