Event benefiting Somers church to be held

SOMERS, CT (WFSB) -

A pasta dinner to benefit the Somers Congregational Church Rebuilding Fund is being held Tuesday afternoon.

The event is being held at Italian Villa Restaurant and Pizzeria on South Road from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. and all of the proceeds are going to the church.

The historic church was destroyed by a massive fire on the evening of January 1.

Tickets are available at the restaurant, and are $10 for adults and $7 for children.
