HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -
Funeral services for a Hartford police officer killed in a crash Friday in Hebron were held Wednesday.
Officer John Marvin, 28, of Coventry died after the SUV he was driving went off the road while going through a three-way stop along Route 85. Marvin was off-duty at the time.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. at the South United Methodist Church at 1226 Main St. in Manchester.
Marvin is survived by his fiancee and young son.
Marvin's family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to a scholarship fund set up for his son.
