STRATFORD, CT (WFSB) -
Startford police have arrested a woman they say refused to pay cash for her $9.15 breakfast at the Duchess Diner on Sunday morning after her credit card was declined.
Police said Serita Harris, 40, not only refused to pay the check in cash, but led police on a two-mile pursuit ultimately ramming her Toyota into the driver side of a cop car.
According to police, Harris refused to pay the waitress cash when her credit card was declined twice. She then walked out of the restaurant and drove off.
Police said they caught up with Harris at the intersection of Nichols and Hawley Lane where she had to be removed from her car after refusing to get out.
Police said a baggie of cocaine fell out of her shoe.
