Chuckles gives her winter prediction

MANCHESTER, CT (WFSB) -

After consulting with meteorologists, examining satellite images and reading the Farmer's Almanac, Chuckles, the state groundhog, has given her prediction on what's ahead this winter.

According to Chuckles, there will be an early spring.

She quietly whispered her prediction to officials at the Lutz Children's Museum early Thursday morning in front of a crowd of dozens of people.
