The Bristol Board of Education voted to restore April vacation because of the mild winter the state has seen so far.
The 7-2 vote was made Wednesday night.
Initially, the BOE voted to cancel the vacation because the city lost five days of school following Winter Storm Alfred in October.
The superintendent however warned that if the city has to cancel more than two days of school, then April vacation would once again be in jeopardy.
