NEWINGTON, CT (WFSB) -
A house fire has displaced a family in Newington.
Officials said it happened at a home on Maple Hill Avenue.
Police officers and firefighters responded to the call shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday morning.
When arriving on the scene, officials said they could see flames coming from a bedroom.
The fire was quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported.
The American Red Cross was assisting the displaced family with temporary housing.
No other information was released about the fire.
