Water main break affecting Rocky Hill neighborhoods

ROCKY HILL, CT (WFSB) -

Several residents in Rocky Hill are waking up without water Wednesday morning.

Metropolitan District Commission spokesperson Kerry Martin says a break occurred early Wednesday along Brook Street.

Water service for customers from Brook Street to Route 99 and several other surrounding neighborhoods is currently being affected.

Repair crews are working to get the water shut off to the area and expect the repair to take about six hours.
