State police obtain search warrant in cold case

SHERMAN, CT (WFSB) -

State police on Wednesday searched the last known address of a woman who has been missing since 1984.

Mary Badaracco has been missing from Sherman since 1984.

State police said they've developed some new leads and information that led them to apply for a search warrant.

A warrant was obtained and troopers were out at the home at 9:30 a.m. They concluded their investigation at the home around 4 p.m.

No information was available on what they were looking for or what they may have found.
