HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Hartford police are investigating a fight on Maple Avenue on Friday night that left one person dead.

Police said they responded to 366 Maple Ave. around 11:44 p.m. after receiving a call that 20 people were fighting in the street

Police said they found on the street one  unresponsive person, who was transported to Hartford Hospital and later pronounced dead.

A second victim was also transported to Hartford Hospital with stab wounds and remains in critical condition there.

Police have not released the names of the victims.
