Power outages in New Britain

NEW BRITAIN, CT (WFSB) -

CL&P crews are investigating what left 2,400 customers in the New Britain area without power early Sunday morning.

Officials said the outage was reported at about 3 a.m. on Sunday.

Crews fixed the issue by late morning on Sunday.

Officials at CL&P said the outages were due to an equipment failure.
