Driver dies in crash on Interstate 91 in Cromwell

CROMWELL, CT (WFSB) -

State police said the driver of an SUV died after a crash on the southbound side of Interstate 91 near exit 21 Sunday afternoon.

The driver was identified as 70-year-old William Millnamow of Lindenhurst, NY.

The right and center lanes of the highway were closed for several hours while police investigated the crash.

State police said the crash was still under investigation and were looking for any witnesses to the crash. Call Troop H at (860) 534-1000 with information.
