NEW HAVEN, CT (AP) -
Authorities have identified a 27-year-old New Haven man whose body was found in the Mill River in the city.
Police say William Young was last seen on Jan. 5 at his home. His mother said he was to meet someone near the library in downtown New Haven and had not been seen or heard from since.
Police say a park ranger spotted Young's body behind Wilbur Cross High School shortly before noon Saturday. Police divers later recovered the body.
A preliminary autopsy did not find any trauma to Young's body. Police say toxicology results are pending and the investigation is being treated so far as an accidental death.
