Hamden police search for missing man

HAMDEN, CT (WFSB) -

Hamden police are searching for 62-year-old Roger Wilkinson who walked away from the Garden View Manor rest home on State Street on Friday carrying a suitcase and a backpack.

Police said Wilkinson has been known to leave the rest home in the past.

He enjoys going to the New Haven Public Library and the city green and has lodged in a motel room in the past.

Police said Wilkinson left several medications behind at the rest home.

Anyone who has seen Wilkinson or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact the Hamden Police Department Detective Division at (203) 230-4040.
