Waterbury hosting community celebration

WATERBURY, CT (WFSB) -

The Brass City is hosting a celebration after being named one of the 100 Best Communities for Young People.

Waterbury received the distinction in November for helping students succeed in school, work and personal lives.

On Tuesday, 100 local students will also be honored for their efforts in their communities.

The celebration is being held at the Palace Theater from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
