Connecticut troops return from Afghanistan

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT (WFSB) -

It was an emotional reunion Monday night for dozens of Connecticut National Guard troops and their families.

Members of the 103rd Civil Engineers Squadron returned home after serving overseas for seven months.

The troops were deployed to Afghanistan in July to help rebuild communities in the country.
