WATERBURY, CT (WFSB) -
One person was killed and two others were injured in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 84 in Waterbury Monday night.
A car that was being driven by Amanda Grenier, 20, of Waterbury, was traveling east in the westbound lanes on I-84 between the exit 24 off-ramp and the exit ramp when it crashed head-on into a vehicle traveling in the right direction around 11 p.m.
Grenier was killed in the crash, and her passenger, identified as Kaleigh Morgan, 21, of Waterbury, was taken to St. Mary's Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle received minor injuries and was not identified.
