Student video about bullying goes viral

NORWICH, CT (WFSB) -

A video created by students from the Norwich Free Academy to raise awareness about bullying has gone viral.

The Norwich Free Academy R-word Campaign video is aimed at creating awareness about the impact of hurtful words, and features interviews with special education students.

Within days of being posted to YouTube, it gained 22,000 hits.

The video was directed, edited and produced by 16-year-old Patrick Kudej with the help of Alyssa Beit, Katie Beit and many other people.
