Off-ramp on I-84 in Southington reopens

SOUTHINGTON, CT (WFSB) -

The exit 32 off-ramp on Interstate 84 in Southington has reopened, according to Connecticut State Police.

The off-ramp at exit 32 on I-84 east was closed for several hours as crews worked on clearing the early morning scene of the tractor-trailer crash.

Police said the driver of the truck received non-life-threatening injuries but became pinned inside the cab of the truck after the crash.

A LIFE STAR medical helicopter was also requested to the scene to take the driver to a local hospital.
