Collapsed Bristol road to be fixed

BRISTOL, CT (WFSB) -

Bristol officials are hoping Farrell Avenue, which collapsed during Tropical Store Irene last year, will be fixed by the summertime.

A large portion of the road collapsed down a steep hill and wide-spread flooding ensued.

City officials estimate it will cost more than $1 million or more to fix the road.
