NEW BRITAIN, CT (WFSB) -
Police in New Britain are asking for the public's help finding a missing man.
William Carpenter, 78, was last seen Tuesday after he told family members he was going to the bank and never came back.
Police say Carpenter suffers from dementia and gets lost and confused easily. They say he is known to travel along I-91 and could be headed to a family cabin in Sturbridge, MA.
Carpenter was last seen wearing jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt. He is driving a green 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe with Connecticut plates KJ2-120.
