HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -
Several Episcopal churches in Connecticut will be giving out ashes on Ash Wednesday to people who cannot stay for an entire church service or go to church at all.
Several churches will be offering ashes outside church, but some are taking it one step further by waiting outside restaurants, coffee shops and even train stations.
One church in Trumbull was offering Ashes to Go outside of a Starbucks to get people involved in Ash Wednesday.
"With the little ones, it's very hard to get to Mass sometimes so when I saw the sign I stopped. It's a great way to keep my faith," said one Catholic.
