Pratt & Whitney flew its newly designed 747, which is in the final stages of testing, over its East Hartford and Middletown campuses as a form of celebration.
The fly-bys occurred sometime around 4:15 p.m. in East Hartford and in Middletown at 4:30 p.m.
The plane flew by at an altitude of 1,000 feet, according to the company.
