Seymour warns residents of bear sightings - WFSB 3 Connecticut

The town of Seymour sent a Code Red Alert to its residents after multiple people reported seeing a black bear.
Residents reported seeing the bear in the area of Skokorat Street, and the Code Red Alert was sent to residents within one mile of that location.
Residents were warned by officials not to interact with the animal if you come in contact with it, and to keep a close eye on children and pets.
Residents were being asked to call the Seymour Police Department at 203-881-7600 if the bear is spotted.
