Coast Guard and fire crews rescued three people from a boat in Long Island Sound on Thursday night.
Coast Guard officials said the 19-foot pleasure craft had left from City Island, NY about two hours earlier when it begun taking on water.
The Coast Guard fixed-wing aircraft along with boats from Bridgeport, Stratford and New Haven assisted in the search.
All three people on board had life vests and were rescued by crews a short time later.
The Coast Guard said the three were brought to the Birdseye Dock in Stratford. They all refused medical treatment, a spokesperson said, and appeared to just be cold, tired and wet.
