NEW BRITAIN, CT (WFSB) -

Family and friends gathered Friday at 5 p.m. at the site of a deadly hit-and-run that took the life of a New Britain teen.

Police continue to look for the vehicle that fled North Street late Monday night after striking 17-year-old Jackson DeJesus.

New Britain police are asking for the public's help in locating a tan, older model Nissan Altima that may have damage to the right mirror and windshield.

New Britain High School, were DeJesus would have been a junior this fall, will continue to have grief counselors available at the school over the next few days.
